Scroll Making Class Student 1

This student brought an original Japanese painting that he had purchased earlier. It is a common Japanese theme with two cranes. I think it turned out nicely. He chose the Takuboku hanging string and a machined rosewood jikusaki. These are pictures from my first scrollmaking class that I have held locally. The students use my published book and we do everything step by step. This was the third class. To complete the course it requires 5 classes at $20.00 per class and all materials are provided. We completed to stage 2a on Saturday June 15, 2019.
