Pair of Oni

These two paintings will be put into a pair of scrolls for the artists University Art Senior show. I love these paintings, because they are a little different from his other works. I am grateful that he puts his trust in my work to create something incredible to match his works. You will notice a container of Dousa Eki, which I applied to the areas bordering the red sumi. The reason for this is that red tends to bleed when applying the first layer of backing paper called Hada Urauchi in Japanese.

If you would like a custom scroll made, or a remount of an old or damaged scroll, please contact me at sales@customjapanesecalligraphy.com
