These are the Hanya Masks, that are painted by Vinh Bui. You can view his Instagram
at this link that are finally completed. I tried to put these in a wallscroll format, but the silk kept stretching and ripping the backing paper. I tried different techniques such as sageboushi, and Jikoku Urauchi, but nothing seemed to work. I decided to mount them onto Panel Boards. I used a blue cloth for the border as a cool color to offset the warm reds in the painting. I think they turned out nicely.
