Chiri mo Tsumoreba Yama to Naru Panel Hari

It is a rare opportunity for me to actually visit the customer and be able to hang the artwork with them. But because they are in Utah, I was happy to make the trip and get the opportunity to make a video. The meaning of this Japanese proverb is Even Dust Piled Up Becomes a Mountain. In other words, the small acts we perform help to achieve the long term goal. The writing was done by my wife, Ryugyoku, in a Sousho style.  I built the panel and mounted everything myself. The hardest part in creating this type of work is the painting (or staining) of the outside border and making the miter cuts to match properly.

If you would be interested in having some artwork mounted or a scroll made, please contact to me at sales@customjapanesecalligraphy.com You can also call or text to 801-214-4064 or visit to our website at www.customjapanesecalligraphy.com or www.tapestryframe.com
