Scroll 3: Made in Japan

Under the guidance of my Sensei. When I went to select the cloths for this scroll, the first thing my Sensei said about this combination was a specific Japanese term. E-mail me to sales@customjapanesecalligraphy.com in order to find out what term he used. This kakejiku or wallscroll was made for the American Bonsai Society 2013 convention, but is for sale. For pricing please contact at the above e-mail.

The scroll is for a fall/winter scene with a woodpecker. It is in the Yamato Hyougu  style, with a Kinran surrounding the painting, a Shoken (pure silk) chuumawashi, and a Shike silk for the Ten/Chi. It is finished with a Brown/Red flecked Kakehimo and a wood lacquered jikusaki.
